David Ellefson's Kings of Thrash are set to return to the UK and Ireland this August–September 2026, bringing their explosive, high-energy live show back to some of the region’s most iconic venues and festivals.
Following a massive run of international dates, the band—featuring Jeff Young, Fred Aching, and Chaz Leon—will once again unleash their signature blend of classic thrash, precision musicianship, and raw intensity for audiences who have long been a cornerstone of the genre.
The UK leg includes headline shows and festival appearances, highlighted by a performance at Stone Dead Festival, where Kings of Thrash will play the Mercia / Planet Rock Friday night party in partnership with Earache Records, alongside long-awaited returns to London, Newport, Nuneaton, and Blackpool. The tour then concludes with two special shows in Ireland and Northern Ireland, wrapping up the band’s summer run on deeply meaningful ground.

On the Ireland dates, Ellefson continues:
“It’s been an incredible world tour this year with Kings of Thrash, and we’re wrapping up our summer in Ireland and Northern Ireland. So much of my thrash metal history has happened in these regions, and it’s great to be back to finish strong with friends who were so great to us when we were there last year.”
